Satellite detections from the last 3 days (NASA FIRMS, MODIS sensor). A detection isn't necessarily an uncontrolled wildfire — it also includes agricultural burning and other heat sources detected by satellite.

Points on the map are colored by the intensity of the heat detected: yellow for a moderate detection (often agricultural burning), orange for intermediate, and red for the most intense hotspots, more likely to be real wildfires.
